- Deliver goods to carrier at named place. Export clearance. Loading onto collecting vehicle if delivery is at seller's premises.
- Buyer's Responsibility
- Main carriage, insurance, import clearance, duties, unloading at destination.
- Risk Transfer Point
- When goods are delivered to the carrier at the named place.
- Cost Transfer Point
- At the named place of delivery to carrier.
- Insurance Obligation
- No obligation on either party.
- Export Clearance
- Seller.
- Import Clearance
- Buyer.
Best For
International trade where seller wants to handle export but not main carriage. Most versatile INCOTERM for multimodal transport.
Watch Out
New in 2020: FCA can now include a provision for the buyer to instruct their carrier to issue a bill of lading to the seller (useful for letter of credit transactions).
