- All transport and risk to named destination. Export clearance. Goods delivered on arriving vehicle, ready for unloading.
- Buyer's Responsibility
- Import clearance, duties, unloading from arriving vehicle.
- Risk Transfer Point
- At named destination, when goods are ready for unloading from arriving vehicle.
- Cost Transfer Point
- At named destination (excluding import duties and unloading).
- Insurance Obligation
- No obligation, but seller bears risk so has incentive to insure.
- Export Clearance
- Seller.
- Import Clearance
- Buyer.
Best For
When seller wants to deliver to buyer's door but not handle import formalities in the destination country.
Watch Out
Seller bears all transit risk but has no obligation to insure. If goods are damaged in transit, seller bears the loss regardless.
